In late 2002, the Isfahan Pharmaceutical Sciences Research Center obtained a basic license from the Ministry of Health and Medical Education

In 1390, with the launch and equipping of its research laboratory, holding joint committees with industrial centers and pharmaceutical factories in an effort to coordinate research projects with the needs of industry and attract various applied and basic research projects, succeeded in obtaining final approval from the Ministry Health, treatment and medical education. These efforts to increase research activities in the field of knowledge production, especially in design, preparation of synthesis of new drugs using new methods, preparation of biotechnological recombinant drugs, production of drugs based on stem cells, and discovery or optimization of research drug molecules according to existing knowledge It is a natural resource or chemical chemistry.

The missions of the Pharmaceutical Sciences Research Center include:

- Preparing and evaluating purposeful multi-purpose drug delivery systems using natural and synthetic polymers with emphasis on chitosan and dextran.

- Design, manufacture, formulation and evaluation of drugs used in the treatment of inflammatory processes with emphasis on anticancer drugs and multiple sclerosis treatment

- Production of technical knowledge of manufacturing, formulation and industrial production of high value-added drugs
